We're students of learning science, positive psychology, and the kind of deep expertise that only comes from sustained, deliberate practice. We build tools that meet you where you are, take your goals seriously, and stay out of the way when you don't need them.

Who We Are
I started coding in high school, studied linguistics in college, and spent years afterward translating and analyzing language professionally — work I loved until I didn't. What I'd cherished about language was the learning, the meaning-making, the art of expression. When that work became a race against machines, the art disappeared. I still loved software, so I refreshed my skills and made the switch. It's been genuinely good — I enjoy solving problems, and I'm decent at it.
But AI is coming for that too. And honestly, when I look at what I actually care about — what I'd pursue if the path were clear — it's learning, growth, and the craft of becoming more fully yourself. That's what led me here.
Steadwell is my attempt to build something at the intersection of all of it: tools grounded in how people actually learn, designed for people who want to grow rather than be replaced, made with the care that meaningful work deserves. I build these apps because I need them. That's where every Steadwell product starts.
